Yêu cầu của phần thi PTE Read Aloud
Trong phần thi này, các bạn sẽ có 30 – 40 giây để chuẩn bị trước khi bắt đầu ghi hình. Khi âm thanh bíp phát ra, các bạn cần đọc đoạn văn thật to và rõ ràng.
Hãy nhớ rằng đừng bắt đầu đọc trước khi tiếng bíp được phát ra. Lý do là vì giọng nói của bạn sẽ không được ghi lại một cách trọn vẹn.
Trước khi thanh thời gian kết thúc, bạn hãy cố gắng đọc xong đoạn văn. Nếu không, micro sẽ ngưng thu âm kể từ thời điểm đó.
Một lưu ý quan trọng khác mà bạn cần biết trong PTE Read Aloud đó là nếu máy tính phát hiện sự im lặng trong hơn 3 giây, máy ghi âm sẽ ngừng ghi âm giọng nói của bạn. Khi đó, bạn sẽ mất điểm ở phần còn lại của đoạn văn.
Các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến điểm của PTE Read Aloud
Phần thi PTE Read Aloud sẽ được tính điểm dựa trên 3 yếu tố sau:
- Nội dung: Các bạn cần phải đọc toàn bộ đoạn văn được cho. Việc thêm bớt câu từ thừa sẽ ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến điểm số của bạn. Do đó, các bạn hãy cố gắng căn chỉnh tốc độ đọc của mình phù hợp để có thể đọc đầy đủ đoạn văn đề cho. Bạn sẽ được tối đa 5 điểm cho phần nội dung.
- Sự lưu loát: Điểm lưu loát phụ thuộc rất nhiều vào nhịp điệu, độ nhấn trọng âm và cách mà bạn diễn đạt trong bài đọc. Để có kết quả tốt nhất, bạn hãy cố gắng đọc với tốc độ tự nhiên, không nhanh cũng không chậm. Nếu các bạn do dự, lúng túng, tạm dừng lâu và lặp đi lặp lại nhiều thì chắc chắn sẽ ảnh hưởng lớn đến điểm số của bạn.
- Phát âm: Bạn nên tìm cách phát âm như người bản xứ. Cách sử dụng những từ trọng âm và cách diễn đạt phù hợp. Lưu ý rằng điều này không có nghĩa là bạn nên cố gắng nói theo giọng Anh hoặc Mỹ của người bản xứ. Điều bạn cần làm ở đây là cách bạn đọc cần phải dễ hiểu đối với những người sử dụng tiếng Anh.
